Week 4

 Project refinement

    I was walking my dog around 11pm, looked up, and saw the beautiful constellation. Never expected it because I don't used to see this in our old house. This gives me an idea of including the dog constellation, Canis Major, into my AR project.

Anamorphic arts:

    However, I wanted to emphasize the idea of Augmented Reality instead of just placing an object on a flat surface. I would like to utilize more of the physical space. This led me to Anamorphic arts. 

    Anamorphic art can only be revealed at a specific angle. Objects can be stretched and placed specifically in a physical space, slowly leading viewers to find the correct angle to reveal the artwork. 

    I love the concept of this idea because constellations usually stay within a certain area in a certain time period. I can use anamorphic art to guide viewers into the correct location to look directly at the Canis Major.
